Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a shorter-term therapy which involves looking at the links between thoughts, feelings and behaviours in order to break the negative cycle maintaining your distress.
An approach that incorporates different aspects of appropriate and compatible theories in order to develop a therapy tailored to each individual client.
The person-centred approach views the client as their own best authority on their own experience, and it views the client as being fully capable of fulfilling their own potential for growth.
Play is how your child normally explores the world and makes sense of what happens. Play allows them to work out normal feelings and difficulties using toys and art materials by themselves. They do this all the time at home.
